London Fashion Week

MURRAY collaborated with the wonderful Falguni & Shane Peacock to create hats for their SS11 show this season.
This season I was delighted to work with the Peacock's and Fu-sion 360 to create hats to compliment the stunning SS11 collection.

Inspired by the plight of bees and tigers 'under the threat of extinction' the collection of trademark prints and beautifully intricate embellishments displ
ayed elements from the structure and pattern of bees and tigers which was interwoven throughout the collection consisting of mostly body con dresses. The vibrant collection adorned with impeccably finished detailings made up of chains, digitally printed sequins, rivets and crystal studded leather, was contrasted with a harder bondage style body armour with a strong emphasis on shoulders and hips.
When creating the hats I was thinking about how beautiful Bees are and how we could end up in a world with out them and their beautiful honey! So I drew inspiration from the bee’s strengths and their protective army like nature. Concentrating on the ‘sting’ of the bee I wanted the wearer to feel fierce and powerful..

The fashion pack turned out for the star studded event. In from row were Matthew Zorpas, Jimmy Choo and Destiny’s Child Michelle Williams, Elle Editor Lorrain Candy, Abbey Clancy, and Miss India to name a few....

Amongst the creative team were Supriya Nihal Singh Bedi and Mumtaz Suterwalla who make up Fu-sion 360 along with a top creative team including stylist Aradia Crocket, Make-up Artist Lisa Stokes and hair stylist Nick Williams along with star chopper James Brown and the E4 production team for the egarly awaited ‘Great British Hairdresser’...bring on the wrap party!!!!
